"I'm so excited for our kids to have the chance to listen to Cade speak," stated Greg Poynor, Boys Athletic Director and Head Football Coach. "He is one of the greatest players to come out of Seminole and is certainly one of the best leaders. Our guys are in for a real treat."
Cade Barnard most recently graduated from the United States Military Academy and was Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant on May 21, 2022. His first assignment will be to coach football at United States Military Academy Prep School.
During his time at West Point, Barnard earned multiple awards and recognitions.
- 2022 1LT Chase Prasnicki Memorial Award: Presented to the First Class Cadet on the Army Football Team who embodies the characteristics of 1LT Steven Chase Prasnicki, Class of 2010, who was killed in action in June 2012. Prasnicki's sacrifice epitomized the values of loyalty, selfless service, and teamwork taught by both the United States Army and the United States Military Academy. Prasnicki was always a team player, continuously putting the needs of the team above his own personal goals and serving as a role model for all past, current, and future Army Football Players.

- Started and received Player of the Game Awards numerous times in the 2021 Football Season
Barnard graduated from Seminole High School in 2018. He was named Best All-Around Student at Seminole High School, Seminole Scholar-Athlete of the Year, District MVP Football 2017, All-State, All-Region, and All-District honors in 2016, and 2017, and THSCA All-State Academic Team 2017.
